Have you treated the land with the reverence it deserves?

One thing we may be grateful for is that the interaction between man and nature has not deteriorated. That was Leo Tolstoy’s opinion. Mother Teresa, the goddess of mercy, says, “The only thing that irritates me is watching people continually tossing away things we may use as waste.” These are two statements made by two world-renowned individuals. Why do we keep doing it? The reason is straightforward. Because there is so much to consider, see, and do in these stories, and they are all more important today than they have ever been. The 5th of June is World Environment Day. On the 5th of June 1974, the festivities will begin. The United States is the first country to commemorate World Environment Day. The theme of World Environment Day has been ‘Only one earth’ since then. Following the United Nations’ participation, many environmental issues all over the world began to be identified and addressed. Simultaneously, the international community began to pay attention to a variety of environmental difficulties and their associated problems. As a result of human activity and technological advancements, problems in numerous ecosystems, including as the ocean, the earth, the atmosphere, forests, wetlands, swamps, mangroves, and wildlife, have occurred.

Over the last two decades, a growing amount of worldwide attention has been paid to a number of environmental catastrophes involving humans, vegetation, and animals. Ocean pollution, water pollution, global warming, air pollution, plant extinction, and endangered species are among the challenges recognized by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). The year 2022 is designated as World Environment Day 2022, underlining the need for worldwide collective action to conserve, sustainably use, and restore the planet. It is not unusual to reflect about our role in environmental contamination, yet many people continue to do so, perhaps due to a misunderstanding of the consequences. Many industries in this country function in an environmentally responsible manner, as you have seen. In our country, industrial air pollution and water pollution are still prevalent. In this sense, citizens should pay attention to the institutions and individuals in positions of authority. And there are many ways we can contribute to environmental balance on a personal level. Trees are felled for a variety of causes. Timber is widely used in our country, particularly in numerous industries, including construction. However, in today’s technologically evolved world, there are numerous possibilities, thus becoming accustomed to them will aid in the reduction of deforestation. Stopping overconsumption is also crucial to preserving the environment’s balance. As previously said, Mother Teresa’s message also states that avoiding over-consumption and being accustomed to re-use will be critical for the environment’s survival.

The human must recognize that the environment does not belong solely to you and me, and that all living things, including flora and fauna, have a natural right to live. It is critical that we continue to live our lives with natural materials and that we return to the environment our fair part of what nature deserves. It’s important to remember that this is the simple premise of sustainable use. If properly sheltered, it can withstand a lot of adverse weather. As a result, beginning on Earth Day, if you can start focusing on the environment in all of your everyday activities, you will be able to make a personal contribution to the large-scale environmental programs being carried out on a worldwide basis.
